Pioneer capitulates

Negative public sentiment has forced a hurried reconstitution of the Pioneer Food Groups board as fallout from Competition Commission issues refuse to go away.
On Monday it was announced that Boy Blanckenberg (Chairperson), Nols Louw (Vice-Chairperson), Albie Bester, Kosie van Niekerk and Antonie Jacobs had decided to step down from the board.

Pioneer Food Group and its bread business are doing itself no favours by continuing its battle with the Competition Tribunal over bread price fixing.
