White Maize Milling cartel referred for prosecution

The Competition Commission has today referred its findings of price fixing of milled white maize to the Competition Tribunal for prosecution.

Limited trading as Ruto Mills (“Foodcorp”), Godrich Milling (Pty) Limited (“Godrich”), Premier Foods (Pty) Ltd (“Premier Foods”) and Tiger Brands Ltd.

Pioneer: Doing itself no favours

Pioneer Food Group and its bread business are doing itself no favours by continuing its battle with the Competition Tribunal over bread price fixing.
